Chris Yockey, owner of Yockey Insurance in Holstein, enjoys helping customers with his expertise in technology and insurance coverage. Yockey is following in the footsteps of his parents, who started the business over 40 years ago.
Teresa Paulsrud sat down for a visit to share her role as Chair of the Republican Central Committee. The Republican Central Committee is responsible for fundraising to help promote good candidates. They host events throughout the year.
The Ida County Board of Supervisors met on Jan. 9, with board members Creston Schubert, Devlun Whiteing, and Raymond Drey in attendance. Due to inclement weather the meeting was postponed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., within 24 hours of the originally posted meeting time.
The Holstein City Council met on Tuesday, Jan. 9 in City Hall. Council members Bonnie Stevenson, Jamison Voss, Christine Wiese, Marcus Prell and Terri Schimmer, as well as Mayor Kathy Breyfogle, were in attendance.
