Steven Holt, Chair of House Judiciary Committee, spoke to people gathering at the Farmacy on the morning of March 2. Holt has had 20 years in the Marine Corp, four years in law enforcement, and owned small businesses, and his wife is a long-time teacher.
The Holstein City Council met on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. in City Hall. Council members Bonnie Stevenson, Jamison Voss, Christine Wiese, Marcus Prell and Terri Schimmer were in attendance, as well as Mayor Kathy Breyfogle.
A Parade of Bands Concert Feb. 22, 2024 Ridge View High School South Gym astounds us all. The bands were directed by Mr. Corgan Petersen and Mr. Jonah Kistenmacher.
Praise was welcomed for the efforts of Dale Ullrich and other community members for making Ida County a Home Base Iowa Community. A program was held on Feb. 19 at the Skate Palace including a ribbon cutting to celebrate this feat done by Ida County.
