The Ridge View dance team put on their annual Dance Night at the high school gym, on Saturday night, Dec. 9. The theme was “It’s a Party” and featured dances tied into various holidays, such as Christmas, St.
Operation Christmas Meal came to several towns on Dec. 8. A free 5-pound pork loin was handed out for local families in need in Holstein, Ida Grove, Alta, Pocohantas, Rockwell City, and Sac City.
The Holstein City Council met on Monday, Dec. 4 at City Hall. Council members in attendance were Terri Schimmer, Christine Wiese, Jamison Voss and Rod Regennitter, as well as Mayor Kathy Breyfogle.
The United Bank of Iowa in Holstein hosted a Christmas Open House on Friday, Dec. 8. The bank provided carry-out lunches and 2024 calendars, in appreciation of its customers.
