Ridge View girls shut down Lawton-Bronson 9-1

The Ridge View softball team held Lawton-Bronson scoreless until the final inning in a 9-1 victory Wednesday at Galva. Meanwhile, the Raptors were able to plate a run or two in almost every inning as they gradually built their lead. Winning pitcher Addison Schmidt allowed only one hit, while striking out five Eagle batters. The Ridge View offensive attack was led by Abby Wandrey, who smacked three hits. Sky Henkel belted a double and drove in three runs, while Addison Schmidt and Emma Vohs both knocked out two hits.
