Ridge View girls edged out by Storm Lake St. Mary’s 53-48

The Ridge View girls basketball squad, fresh off their Western Valley Conference tournament championship, lost a close battle with a talented Storm Lake St. Mary’s team 53-48. St. Mary’s came into the game having lost only once all season. The contest was tight throughout the first half, as the two teams were tied at 12 after one quarter, and Ridge View took a 28-26 lead into the halftime break.
