In a season-opening non-conference game, the Ridge View boys basketball squad lost a back-and-forth affair to Alta-Aurelia on Thursday night in Holstein. The game was scoreless for almost four minutes, as both teams showed some early season jitters and had trouble finding a basket. Alta-Aurelia grabbed an 11-6 lead after one quarter and expanded it to 32-24 at halftime.
