Billy Fraser, Holstein fire chief and owner of Backdraft Bar & Grill, sat down recently for a visit about the Holstein Fire Department. Fraser listed some of his duties as fire chief.
“I’m basically in charge of the duties of the station,” he explained. “I’m also responsible for control of fire scenes, and control of accidents. I’m in town more than anybody; that helps too.”
Fraser, a Holstein native, is a long-time firefighter.
