The Farm-to-Table dinner put on by the Holstein Betterment Alliance (HBA) on Aug. 7 accomplished its goals, said HBA member Terri Schimmer.
“I think it went well,” she said. “We had just over 200 with ticket sales, and the auction went well. We had more auction items and so we had better income from the auction. Bob Butcher did an excellent job; he took the auction under his wing and thought of things that I wouldn’t think of, like bales of hay and seed corn and that kind of thing.”
