HOLSTEIN - Dan Beebe, 75, of Holstein, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at Cherokee Regional Hospital.

Danny Joe Beebe was born in Iowa on Oct. 25, 1950, to Robert and Vella Beebe. On June 7, 1970, Dan married the love of his life, Barbara. Together, they built a loving family and shared many happy years together.

Dan was passionate about coaching wrestling and baseball in Winterset and dedicated many years working in maintenance at Van Top Industries. After retirement, he continued working at Nelson’s Cans and Bottles.

Dan enjoyed camping, gardening, woodworking, and making yearly trips to the Black Hills with his family. Above all, he loved spending time with those he cared about most.

He is lovingly survived by his daughters, Darcey (Bryan) Skokan, Jenny (Jeff) Shepard, and Brett Beebe; grandchildren, Matthew, Nichole, Jonathan, James, Courtney, Logan, Lukas, Levi, Ivy, and Irelynn; as well as nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Larry and Launa.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Vella Beebe; his beloved wife, Barbara; and his brother, Jeff.

Dan will be remembered for his hardworking nature, love for family, and the kindness he showed to those around him.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel, with burial in the Lorimor Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a future designation. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.caldwellparrish.com.
