ODEBOLT - It is with great sadness that we say goodbye, for now, to our father, grandfather and great grandfather, Douglas Stenoien. He was the fourth child born to Ole and Bura Stenoien in Hanks, North Dakota. Although Doug was born into poverty, he chose not to allow this to be his destiny. By the grace of God and through a work ethic like no other, he built a life that far exceeded the economic destitution of his childhood.

IDA GROVE - Brian O. Schumacher, age 70, of Elkhorn, Nebraska (formerly of Ida Grove, Iowa) passed away on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at the CHI Health Lakeside Hospital of Omaha, Nebraska.
DAVENPORT-Mercedes Anne Elias, 92, of Davenport, IA, passed away Wednesday July 21, 2021, at the Davenport Lutheran Home. A Memorial Service was held on July 26, 2021, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bettendorf. Interment was on August 3, 2021 at Ferguson Cemetery in Lake View, IA.
