Ida County Fair offers exhibits, shows, activities

 The Ida County Fair got underway Tuesday with exhibit hall and Clover Kids judging and the horse show. The fair runs through Monday, July 26. 

Season tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students (eight to 18 years) and free for age seven and under. Daily admission is $10 a person. Tickets are available at the gate, from fair board members, 4-H youth and the Ida County Extension Office in Ida Grove. 

Carnival rides, arcade games and a petting zoo are free to everyone. 

Nightly drawings will be held; you do not need to be present to win. 

This year’s food venders are Granny’s Snack Shack, Uncle David’s Donuts, Sizzlin’ J and Tropical Sno.
