Ridge View improves to 6-1 in conference softball play

Ridge View went 4-2 in a six game softball stretch last week to improve to 6-1 in the conference and to 7-3 overall.

The Raptors defeated conference foe Lawton-Bronson in an eight-inning affair in Lawton May 31.

The game was tied 4-4 going into the extra frame. Ridge View chalked up three runs in the top of the eighth to put the game on ice. L-B tried to rally, but managed just one run in the home half of the eighth.

Sheldon tournament

The Raptors traveled to Sheldon Saturday, June 1 and came away with a 1-2 record in the Sheldon tournament. 

In the first game, Ridge View defeated Sheldon by the score of 10-4. Emerson Else threw six innings, walking three and striking out eight.  “Else continues to show improvement and consistency as she strives to improve,” noted coach Phelps.
