G-H board looks at bond issue for building addition

The Galva-Holstein School Board developed plans during a work session Sept. 4 for a bond issue election that, if approved by voters, would add an addition to the Holstein building.

The addition, planned for the north side of the current elementary wing in Holstein, would include a new gymnasium, an industrial tech area, a couple of classrooms, related remodeling and improvements and site improvements. Superintendent Jon Wiebers said the estimated cost of the project is $11.5 to $12.2 million.
