G-H board accepts Mitchell resignation, reviews return-to-learn plan for state


The Galva-Holstein and Schaller-Crestland School Board accepted the resignation of two administrators during separate meetings May 11. The G-H board also heard about some preliminary ideas relating to the return-to-learn plan that must be submitted to the state as part of the effort to get students back to school this fall.
The G-H board accepted the resignation of athletic director and social studies teacher Scott Mitchell. Mitchell, who has been with the district for 24 years, accepted the post of high school principal at Alta-Aurelia.
S-C accepted the resignation of Cole Sevond, who serves as Ridge View Middle School principal and S-C Elementary principal. He has accepted a position in Ames.
