Faith Lutheran welcomes new pastor

Faith Lutheran Church in Holstein welcomed a new pastor to lead its congregation during an installation service Oct. 4.

“Faith Lutheran was formed in the fall of 2010. Our group wanted to be faithful to our Lord and, with that goal in mind, we started our new church. After 10 years of service to our community and our Lord, we have just had our new, full-time Pastor Scott Neumann installed Sunday, Oct. 4. We are very blessed to have Pastor Scott here serving Faith Lutheran and the community. Please stop by his office at our church on Holstein’s Main Street and say hello – you’ll be glad you did,” said Gary Brosamle of Holstein, a founding member of Faith Lutheran and current council president.

Kevin Conover, Holstein, one of the founding members of Faith and call committee chair said, “Pastor Scott seemed like a good fit for our congregation from the first time our call committee met him. As the interview weekend progressed, we became even more confident that he was the person to be called to serve Faith Lutheran. Pastor Scott’s enthusiasm and new ideas are refreshing. We are excited to have Pastor Scott, his wife, Vicki, and their family here in our community and look forward to what lies ahead.”
