CRMC SHIIP counselors commended

Cherokee Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has received commendation from the Iowa Insurance Division and the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) for its years of service as a SHIIP outreach site.

“Cherokee Regional Medical Center has been an integral part of the history of the Iowa SHIIP program of outreach and information for older Iowans,” said Kris Gross, director of Iowa SHIIP. “Through the work of CRMC and the more than 149 sites across the state, SHIIP volunteers have helped thousands of Iowans save money on their insurance costs, including saving older Iowans more than $28 million just last year.”
