The Holstein Chamber of Commerce marketing committee installed new welcome to Holstein signs on the east and west entrances to Holstein last fall. Work on a sign on the north entrance to town will be completed when the weather warms up this spring. The signs were made possible by a $10,000 grant from the Ida County Community Betterment Foundation.

Sheriff Wade Harriman presented two budget proposals for 2021 at the Ida County Public Safety and Communications Commission meeting Jan. 12 in Arthur.
